A Bit of Background

b2me Tourism Marketing is more than just a consultancy business; it is part of the wider community of the tourism industry, and has been for the past 18 years.

Our businesses, and the lives of friends and colleagues that work in them, have been disproportionately affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and as such, it has never been more important to me to do something to try and offer support.

The tourism industry is hugely resilient and will undoubtedly flourish again as we have done many times before. As always, recovery will begin with public perceptions, and Tourism On A Roll is a tongue in cheek response with a serious message to encourage everyone to buy tickets with the same hoarding instinct that was so commonplace just twelve months ago. Without ticket sales to museums, attractions, experiences, houses, gardens and theatre, our industry cannot do what it does best - entertain, educate, inspire and excite.

The artwork was created by my friend and collaborator Katie Hounsome; and I am indebted to her brilliance as an illustrator to capture the nuance of my message.
